Breechcloth
Made from garment weight wool these are hand stitched using linen thread. As per the 18th century technique the edges of the cloth are left "raw" or unhemmed. Stripes are also made from wool or worsted lace. I add trade silver ring brooches as a decorative element. You can choose from sterling silver or nickel silver. The main wool colors are red, dark blue, brown and gray. I have also made linen breechcloths dyed in walnut hulls. These are lighter weight for the summer months.
